Our summer Concerts on the Square series kicks off on the Quad (near Restaurant 101) with acclaimed music from NU-BLU! Join us from 7 to 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 21, 2025!
Nu-Blu, an acoustic band from North Carolina, has made a significant mark in the music industry with five Top Ten Billboard albums. Known for their warm, layered Appalachian sound, the band is led by husband-and-wife duo Daniel (guitar, vocals) and Carolyn Routh (bass, vocals), along with Austin Hefflefinger on banjo and Justin Harrison on mandolin.
Their music features seamless vocal harmonies, energetic pick work, and heartfelt ballads, creating a genuine connection with audiences across various genres. Praised by Nashville Entertainment Weekly, Carolyn Routh is seen as a successor to Alison Krauss’s legacy!
