Description

The Tyler Millard Band is comprised of 2 - 5 band members, depending on the venue and budget. Tyler Millard had been performing by himself for two years when he met Kyle Vessa and Carl Heck. Millard was heavily influenced by 90's alternative music and modern blues, while Vessa and Heck had played mostly southern rock. The result of these three coming together can best be described as a folk/blues mix. Adding in a keyboardist and a drummer has produced a very tight sound that will rock the house! They are very adept at playing "to the crowd". They play a healthy mix of covers and mix in some favorite originals when appropriate. They have produced one album to date and are working on their second.

The Tyler Millard Band differentiates themselves from other bands by picking their setlist from a wide variety of genres, adding their signature blues feel, and making sure every song is danceable. Most importantly, they strive to pick songs so that 90% of the people in attendance will know 90% of the songs that get played. A winning combination!

Currently, The Tyler Millard Band plays locally in the Greensboro, NC area, but travels a few times a year to events throughout NC.

Independently, Tyler travels and has played as far west as AZ and as far north as CT.
