NEW DAVIE COUNTY PARK PARTF GRANT PUBLIC INPUT MEETINGS

Description

The Davie County Recreation and Parks Department is preparing a grant application for the Parks and Recreation Trust Fund (PARTF) in conjunction with phase one of the new Davie County Park (Davie County High School Re-purposing Project). These community meetings will be an excellent opportunity for residents to provide input and suggestions on a Splash Pad design and accommodating features. The new park phase one master plan was approved by the Davie County Board of Commissioners on December 4, 2017. This is the first PARTF application that Davie County will submit for any project. “We want to ensure that our application stands out and thoroughly covers all the check boxes. Six (6) of the top ten (10) elements that were identified as top priorities by our residents and advisory board were approved for phase one.
