Chasity Baker, owner of Yellow Butterfly Home Care, is a graduate of UNCG School of Nursing. For over 23 years she has worked in the Home Health field as a Registered Nurse case managing patients with multiple comorbidities. During this Time Chasity served as a Manager of Clinical Practice over occupational therapists, physical therapists, CNAs, nurses, and Social Workers. Chasity also trained Registered Nurses, LPNs, CNAs for those years within the Home Health company and earned the Clinical Nursing Excellence Award. In addition, she worked part time in an Assisted Living Facility providing training to Personal Care Assistants, and CNAs all while working with patients. During this time, she had witnessed the growing need for establishing a home care business so we can assist more people to be able to stay in their homes for as long as possible. It has been a dream of hers for years to be able to help others establish this goal. She also witnessed a growing need for providing relief to family members who need a break at times from caring for their loved ones. Recently she had her own personal experience with her beloved grandmother and it ignited her passion even more to know how meaningful this can be to keep your loved ones at home for as long as possible. Yellow Butterfly Home Care LLC has staff with the same compassion with years of experience working with others in the home. Our staff is able to provide hands on care with personal care and provide companion services. Our agency is also licensed, bonded, insured and registered with the State of North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services.
