The Community Piano Project is a grassroots initiative led by Sean Lane of the Town of Mocksville. Inspired by the idea of accessible art, Sean has taken an old piano and given it new life—refurbished, retuned, and repainted to bring music and joy to the heart of downtown.
Positioned near the iconic Mocksville fountain, the piano will be open to the public for spontaneous performances and moments of creativity, reflection, and connection.
This celebration marks not just the placement of a piano, but the launch of a welcoming space for all ages to engage with the arts in everyday life.
