#WEREAD is a virtual book club that is centered on the voices and experiences of marginalized and under-represented groups. We will meet virtually every month through Jitsi.org to discuss our readings. Registration is required. Visit https://bit.ly/DCPLWEREAD to register.
The book we will read in September is Saints & Misfits by S.K. Ali. This is a contemporary coming-of-age story about a 15-year-old Arab-Indian-American girl named Janna Yusuf. Two themes in this novel are faith and identity.
